Yayasan Health on World is a respected organisation that is known to champion the well-being of people both internally and externally that has worked with Government bodies, corporate companies and individuals since its establishment in 2020.
1. Fundraising Dinner
This fundraising dinner to collect funds for our upcoming initiative called “Rakan YHOW”. Under this initiative, we hope to address the gap in mental and emotional support to patients and caregivers in public hospitals that includes nurses, administrative and auxiliary staff.Why? Because currently, the healthcare system is largely focused on fixing what is physiologically wrong with the people and yet the mental and emotional support which is crucial to getting them focused on healing is not readily available.2. Purpose
We are hoping to utilise the fund we gather from this event to train and equip volunteers with Psychological First Aid (PFA). These volunteers will be dispatched to provide mental and emotional support in public hospitals. We plan to run the PFA training for volunteers in the 3rd quarter of 2024 and mobilise them in the last quarter of 2024.
